About L&L

Lyrics & Libations Open Mic was founded in Chicago in 2013 by independent artists BOLY Blaise and Simon Sed. Our ethos is that the world needs more artists and their art. Our mission is to provide a creative, fun, and inclusive environment where each performer is met with respect and encouragement. Our open mic is a space where artists and fans connect and grow no matter what level of experience they have. We currently have a weekly event in Chicago every Wednesday at the Hairpin Arts Center and a monthly event in Indianapolis every third Thursday at Soundspace in the Circle City Industrial Complex.
